Newsletter News & Flash Me Fridays

The Naughty List, my monthly newsletter, will be starting up again on Monday, September 12th. It may include bits of trivia from my research, potentially nsfw photos and excerpts, news about upcoming releases, book recommendations, and special deals/discounts for subscribers only. If that sounds like something you might be interested in, sign up here! Yes, your birth year is required, though it will not be used for anything other than to verify that you’re over 18 (no minors allowed!).

Also, if you prefer to receive these blog posts in your email rather than watching social media for the links or checking the site every week, there’s a nifty sign-up form in the sidebar. Feel free to jump on the list and these posts will come straight to your inbox, easy-peasy!

A few weeks ago, I mentioned a not-so-little generational series I’m working on piecing together that will span the various genres I write in. And I mentioned one Eleanor Lavinia Jacobs, who left her comfortable east-coast life in the late 1800’s to venture west as a mail-order bride and ended up owning a bordello.

Would you like to read the story of the adventurous and oft-times troublesome Ellie Jacobs, more commonly known later in life as “The Magpie Madam“?

If you answered “no”, then you are definitely in the wrong place, and should definitely not sign up for a blog subscription here.

If you answered “yes”, then you are most definitely in the right place. I will be posting short sections of Ellie’s (fictional) memoir right here on the blog every Friday starting September 9th. These little “naughty encounters” from Ellie’s life will only be available for one week (Flash Me! Fridays), so make sure to read each encounter before the next one goes up on the following Friday!

Non-fiction posts will continue on Thursdays, as normal.

I hope you’ll join in on the fun both here on the blog and in the newsletter group! If you enjoy parts of Ellie’s memoir, please feel free to comment either with a reply to the email, here on the blog or where ever you find the link on social media. And if you *really* enjoy a post, feel free to leave a tip in the tip jar I’ll be adding to all fiction posts from here on out. When the entire story is published, all tippers will receive a nice thank-you gift.

Next week, back to our regularly scheduled post topics, and the first new and scandalous tale of The Magpie Madam!
